On January 22nd, Portuguese foundation Andebol 4 All promoted the first Algarve Championship, a competition of Wheelchair Handball. Two teams participated on the occasion, Parasport and "The Special", from Madeira.

Parasport won for 5-0, in a hystorical game, in which both teams gave their best in the court, thrilling the public present in Portimão Arena. The game was played during the break of semi finals and finals of the Portugal Super-Cup of Handball.

After the competition, Andebol 4 All defined adjustments for the signature of a protocol, involving Portugal's Anddemot (National Association of Sports for Motor Disability) and FAP (Portugal Handball Federation), in which Anddemot will be responsible to organize the Competition Chart for 2011. 7 teams from all the country have mentioned interest of participating in the championships.
