One of the many countries in the world to develop Wheelchair Handball activities, Portugal began a work of integration on January of this year.

At the event SuperTaça de Andebol (Handball Championship),  the project Andebol 4 All - ACR (Handball for all - WCH) was released, signed by Portugal Handball Federation, Para-olympic Comittee, and Portuguese Federation of Sports for Disabilities.

The project performs trainning courses, set in two phases: one for teachers and students, and other to the association (club, directors, referees). The fourth course, the last one fulfilled until now happened in the World Championship of School Handball, from March 19th to 26th.

On the occasion, the very first national WCH presentation took place, which was a very important goal to the Wheelchair Handball divulgation. 29 countries were in the event, and many authorities of worldwide Handball made contact with the modality for the disabilited.
